Feral Interactive is using its Facebook page to inform Mac users that two unnamed upcoming games are in need of some beta testing. Applicants who can spend about 10 hours a week with the games are preferred. All they need to do is send an email with their name, address, and their Macs’ specs, and hope to get selected.
“Feral have a couple of games entering beta and we are opening up beta signups to interested Mac gamers who would like to help playtest some of this years biggest Mac titles,” the developer writes.

“We cannot mention the games by name as they are still unannounced, however they are from the first person shooter and platformer genres,” the Facebook post reveals.
The requirements for beta testers are then listed.
According to Feral, “You need to have time free to be able to play new versions of the game and log any issues you find in our bug tracker. You also will be asked to confirm that bugs you have reported are fixed in newer versions.”
The developer will see those who are able to play “about 10 hours or more a week” as a priority for the team of testers.
“Beta versions of the games are quite large, so you will need to have high speed broadband to download and activate them,” adds Feral.
